Sexual Salamanders on a Treadmill

It seems that for humans to study the travel habits of mating salamanders, they need to be put on a treadmill because they are too difficult to study in the wild. The conclusion was that females won’t travel as far as males to get sex, though the females will go over six miles per hour.
